Celtic midfielder heads out on loan after first-team involvement under Martin O’Neill
The 20-year-old midfielder will spend the rest of the 2026/27 campaign at the League Two club as he looks to pick up further regular first-team football.
Turley becomes the latest Celtic prospect to head to The Rock, joining Aidan Rice and Owen Hartington, who moved to Dumbarton earlier in the summer as part of the clubs’ co-operation agreement.
The Northern Irish youngster made his senior Celtic debut in 2024 and signed a four-year contract with the Hoops later that year.
Turley spent last season on loan at Ayr United before returning to Parkhead in the summer, where he was involved in first-team training under Martin O’Neill.
However, opportunities in O’Neill’s senior side have been limited and Celtic have now sanctioned another loan move to aid his development.
Turley will link up with his fellow Hoops youngsters at Dumbarton as he looks to gain valuable senior minutes during the remainder of the campaign.
