Celtic are now preparing for a Premiership clash with Motherwell this weekend, which is their first game back after the international break. The break was a long one, lasting three weeks due to a new extension, and Celtic will be itching to get back in action having had to stew over an awful run during that break.

The Bhoys lost three straight games going into the break, and now only top by two points, they know they have no time to waste in getting back to form if they want to stay on top.

As the clash with Motherwell on Sunday comes into focus, we have rounded up the latest on the injury situation, and Celtic did manage to come through the break without their international stars suffering any real setbacks. Join us as we round up the latest.

Benjamin Nygren

Nygren will be a doubt after being sent home from Sweden's national team camp with a big. Still, it would be a surprise if he wasn't available.

Yang Hyun-jun

Yang should be available this weekend. He only played once at the Asian Games due to a hamstring issue, but he returned to the bench for the semi-final and final, and given he wasn't risked, the winger should be available to play this weekend.

Alistair Johnston

Johnston has been dealing with a hamstring injury, but he is expected to be back here or shortly after,

Landon Emenalo

Emenalo is expected to be available either for this game or shortly after.

Joel van den Berg

We know very little about van den Berg's injury that saw him attend the last game in a walking boot. It's unclear whether the midfielder is still out, and if he is, how long he will be out for. O'Neill didn't even mention the injury.

Callum Osmand

Osmand has been dealing with an ankle injury for much of the season, but he is expected to be back in contention either this weekend or shortly after.

Kieran Tierney

Tierney withdrew from the Scotland squad for the international window, but having had three weeks off, he is expected to be back in contention.

Jota

Jota is nearing a return and passed a major test during the international break, when he competed in a behind-closed-doors friendly. Still, his return from his more than 18-month layoff is being managed very carefully, and he will not return until towards the end of this month.
