Tuchel gives updates on Arsenal’s Konsa and Man City’s O’Reilly after duo missed England training

Thomas Tuchel confirmed Nico O’Reilly and Ezri Konsa are doubts for England’s clash with Czechia after both missed training with minor injury problems.

The pair sat out MondaY’s session and Tuchel admitted he is still unsure whether either will be available, with final fitness checks set to take place on the morning of the game.

“I’m not sure yet,” Tuchel said when asked about O’Reilly and Konsa.

“They missed training because of minor issues but they are still issues.”

Tuchel also provided an update on the wider squad, with those who started England’s defeat to Spain taking part in a lighter session.

“Today in the morning we had a light training for the guys who started the game,” he said.

“The very last checks will be made tomorrow morning. If the doctors and physios give thumbs up then we’re good to go.

“One day longer would really make a difference.

“I feel the players who were on the pitch today all really want to play and are up for it.”
