Transfer Rumours: Chelsea reignite shock pursuit as Jules Kounde decision made

Chelsea still keen on Camara
Chelsea remain interested in AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, TEAMtalk claims.
The Blues almost signed the Senegal international on Deadline Day this summer, but Monaco allegedly reneged on a €55 million agreement at the last minute, leaving the Stamford Bridge club without a replacement for Enzo Fernandez.
It has since been reported that the relationship between Chelsea and Monaco has deteriorated dramatically in the wake of this incident, yet it is now being claimed that a second attempt at signing Camara in January can't be ruled out.
Kounde available
Jules Kounde is reconsidering his future at Barcelona, Sport writes.
The Blaugrana no longer consider the France international untouchable after a fairly underwhelming season and would have been open to offers for him in the summer, but Kounde always wanted to stay.
However, with his importance to Hansi Flick's side having waned, the versatile defender is now mulling over his future and could look to leave the club next year. Barcelona would not block his path and would consider offers north of €50m.
Estevao stance
Chelsea have no intention of entertaining the departure of Estevao in 2027, football.london understands.
The Brazilian has struggled for minutes so far this season, which has given rise to rumours that he is growing frustrated with his playing time and may look to leave. Moreover, reports in Spain have asserted that Barcelona are attentive to the situation.
However, Chelsea consider Estevao one of their "untouchable" players and do not want to lose him. Consequently, any potential exit in 2027 is pretty much off the table.
Liverpool in Tchouameni contact
Liverpool are still in contact with the camp of Aurelien Tchouameni, as per TEAMtalk.
The Reds are long-standing admirers of the France international and previously attempted to sign him while at Monaco in 2022. At the time, Julian Ward was in charge of the Anfield club's recruitment, and he has just been rehired as sporting director.
As a result, rumours are increasing that Liverpool could reignite their pursuit of Tchouameni. In fact, the Reds already held discussions with his representatives over the summer before ultimately deciding not to make a midfield signing.
Ramon stuns Real Madrid
Como defender Jacobo Ramon is currently not considering a return to Real Madrid, AS understands.
Los Blancos sold the 21-year-old to the Serie A club for €2.5m last summer and have retained control of his future via several buy-back clauses. The one for 2027 is reportedly worth just €9m-€10m.
Last week, it was claimed that Real Madrid had decided to activate this clause, with Ramon expected to replace Antonio Rudiger next summer. However, at the moment, the player is showing no signs of desiring to come back because he wants to be a guaranteed starter.
