Tottenham Hotspur have turned their attention to Crystal Palace right-back Daniel Muñoz as Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen his defensive options following Djed Spence’s departure. Tottenham step up interest in Muñoz

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are interested in signing Muñoz as they assess replacements for Spence.

The Colombia international has become one of Crystal Palace’s most dependable performers since arriving from Genk in January 2024.

He can operate as either a traditional right-back or wing-back, making him particularly useful for a manager who values tactical flexibility.

Everton have also shown serious interest, meaning Tottenham could face competition if they decide to turn their admiration into a formal offer.

Muñoz remains contracted to Palace until 2028, so the Eagles are under no immediate pressure to sell.

Spence’s exit has nevertheless increased Tottenham’s urgency. The 26-year-old made 85 appearances during his Spurs career before sealing his Inter switch.
