Ayoub Bouaddi is closing in on a move to Manchester City. The Morocco international, currently at Lille, edges nearer to sealing a formal transfer in this summer's window.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on X: "Ayoub Bouaddi has passed his medical at Manchester City. He joins the club from Lille for 95 million euros, plus 5 million euros in add-ons."

Romano went further: "All the documents for the Bouaddi deal have been signed by the clubs."

The midfielder earned his move on the biggest stage. Bouaddi shone for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup, anchoring the middle of the park despite his tender years.
