Tottenham Hotspur have sent shockwaves across the Premier League news cycle again this summer transfer window, but instead of making a hugely positive splash like with Savio, Omar Marmoush, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali, Spurs have puzzled everyone by signing Chelsea's unwanted left winger Mykhaylo Mudryk. Here is how the out of favor Ukrainian international could fit the Spurs starting XI...if he ever starts.

Defense: GK Antonin Kinsky - LB Destiny Udogie - CB Micky van de Ven - CB Jan Paul van Hecke - RB Pedro Porro

The best Tottenham Hotspur defense isn't hard to figure out, and aside from Marcos Senesi potentially pushing Micky van de Ven or Jan Paul van Hecke for minutes, there is really no competition for places here. Anyone who thinks Andy Robertson should play over Destiny Udogie needs to rewatch the Newcastle loss.

Midfield: DM Rodrigo Bentancur - DM Sandro Tonali - AM Mateus Fernandes

When everyone is healthy, Xavi Simons is obviously the starting No. 10 for Tottenham Hotspur, but right now, Mateus Fernandes is the best option in the playmaker role, especially after he had another strong performance, even in that position and even in Spurs loss to Newcastle. Rodrigo Bentancur used to be an afterthought, but since Roberto De Zerbi's arrival, he is back to being one of the better center midfielders in the English top flight.

Attack: LW Mykhaylo Mudryk - CF Omar Marmoush - RW Savio

Now here is where Mykhaylo Mudryk slots in. Unlike the other new winger signing this summer Savio, Mudryk is totally locked in one side of the pitch. Savio can play as traditional left footed left winger or an inverted right winger, but Mudryk can only play on the left side of the attack and cut in and shoot. How he coexists with Omar Marmoush remains to be seen and should actually be a real worry for De Zerbi and Tottenham, as Marmoush will need some chance creation from the wing, which Mudryk never really provided during his time at Chelsea.

As for the right wing position, there is a case to be made that Mohammed Kudus, who is more of that sort of a playmaker, across from Mudryk is the move, but Savio is a favorite of Roberto De Zerbi's and the 85 million pound signing. He is starting over Kudus in most cases, particularly since he adds goals without losing much playmaking danger.
