Spurs leave striker out of Premier League squad

Richarlison has been left out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad after his proposed return to Everton fell through on transfer deadline day.

Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi revealed last week that the Brazil international had asked to leave the club.

However, a deal failed to send him to Everton materialise and Richarlison has now been omitted from Tottenham’s squad for the first half of the Premier League season.

The Brazilian had also released a statement saying he would not be forced into an exit.

Richarlison could still leave the north London club in the coming days, however, with the transfer windows in Turkey and Saudi Arabia remaining open.
