Marcus Rashford could be the subject of a swap deal involving PSG star Bradley Barcola next summer, according to Football Insider.

Rashford departed Manchester United for Barcelona on loan over the summer and has made an impressive start to life in Spain.

The England international has provided six assists and scored two goals as the Blaugrana look to defend their La Liga crown.

And the 28-year-old’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed with Parisian powerhouse PSG reportedly keen on signing Rashford.

PSG hold long-standing interest in Rashford

PSG have previously been credited with an interest in the English forward, but have thus far failed to lure Rashford to Paris.

Barcelona have an option to buy Rashford once his loan spell expires next summer yet United are hoping that his good form at Spotify Camp Nou will increase interest in his services at the end of the season.

PSG will hope to steal a march on the Spanish giants and are prepared to offer French winger Bradley Barcola in exchange for Rashford.

French giants may send Barcola to Old Trafford in Rashford deal

Barcola has been involved in 12 of PSG’s 15 league games this season, starting nine times, but faces competition from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for a regular spot in the starting XI in the capital.

And with everyone fit, Barcola would struggle for game time in Luis Enrique’s preferred 4-3-3 setup, with the former Lyon man battling with Ballon d’Or 2025 winner Ousmane Dembele and young compatriot Desire Doue for a spot on the frontline.

As such, PSG are willing to offer Barcola to United in exchange for Rashford as the Ligue 1 champions consider a refresh of their attack.

PSG returned to winning ways in style on Saturday night as they trounced Rennes 5-0 at the Parc des Princes.

However, they remain second in Ligue 1 after Lens claimed a late 2-1 win at Nantes to retain top spot.
