Premier League Giants Circle Bournemouth Star Antoine Semenyo Ahead of January Transfer Window

A plethora of Premier League sides are monitoring Bournemouth Antoine Semenyo with a view to a January move, according to Sky Sports.
Semenyo has been one of the standout stars in the Premier League this season and his performances on the south coast haven’t gone unnoticed.
Tottenham and Manchester United were both credited with an interest in the Ghanaian winger over the summer, but the pair instead focused their efforts on Mohammed Kudus and Bryan Mbeumo from West Ham and Brentford, respectively.
Both Spurs and United remain interested in Semenyo, who penned a five-year deal with the Cherries earlier this year.
However, they’d also face competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City, with the pair keeping tabs on the Bournemouth sensation.
Tottenham want a left winger in January
Spurs are keen on bringing in a new left winger in the January window having missed out on City star Savinho over the summer.
The north London side were heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian, but were rebuffed in their efforts to sign the 21-year-old, who’d go on to sign a new deal.
Morgan Rogers also extended his stay at Aston Villa earlier this week, meaning Spurs need to focus their attention elsewhere in their quest to bolster their frontline.
Everton wideman Iliman Ndiaye has also emerged as a potential target, though the Toffees are reluctant to sell the Senegal international in the New Year.
Liverpool eye Semenyo as Diaz successor
And while Spurs are eager to land Semenyo, Liverpool are also prepared to splash the cash for the 25-year-old to strengthen their left flank.
The Reds sold Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich earlier in the year and while they brought in Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, some at the club feel they didn’t replace the Colombian.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes previously worked at Bournemouth and has a good working relationship with the Cherries, having spearheaded negotiations to sign left-back Milos Kerkez from the club over the summer.
United, meanwhile, are eyeing reinforcements on the frontline owing to Bryan Mbeumo’s expected departure for AFCON next month and have also been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.
Semenyo made a superb start to the season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in his opening seven league appearances.
However, the forward has gone off the boil in the recent weeks, culminating in a penalty miss in a 4-0 loss to Aston Villa last weekend.
