Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth have put together a 14-game unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Andoni Iraola will be desperate to go out on a high by guiding Bournemouth into European competition for the first time in their history.

The Spaniard has announced he is leaving the south coast at the end of the season after three seasons in charge of the Cherries.

Crystal Palace will also be losing their manager and Oliver Glasner is eyeing Conference League glory, with the Eagles well on their way to the final having won 3-1 against Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-final first leg.

Team news

Justin Kluivert is on the road to recovery following a knee injury, but the clash against Palace is too soon for the Cherries forward.

Midfielder Lewis Cook will miss the match, while Julio Soler is a doubt due to a thigh injury.

Glasner's side have been battling on two fronts in recent weeks and this has taken its toll and Evann Guessand, Cheick Doucoure and Eddie Nketiah are all sidelined by injury.

The stats

Not much separates these two sides in the recent head-to-head.

Since Bournemouth secured promotion back to the top-flight in 2022, the two clubs have met on seven occasions. Both sides have two wins apiece, while the previous three Premier League games between them have finished as draws.

The Cherries have lost only seven league games this season, a record bettered by only Manchester City and Arsenal.

Iraola's men, however, have registered 16 draws across 34 matches, the most in the division.

Palace have recorded the same amount of wins as the Cherries (11), although the Eagles have suffered 12 defeats.

Bournemouth have the sixth-best attacking record in the top-flight with 52 goals. The Londoners, on the other hand, have netted just 36 times, with only two teams scoring fewer goals.

Both teams scored in the reverse fixture back in October, yet that is the only instance of that happening since 2019.

Junior Kroupi is Bournemouth's top scorer this season with 11 goals, while for Palace, Ismaila Sarr has been their main man, netting 18 goals in all competitions.

Prediction

With Premier League safety all but secured and a Conference League semi-final second leg approaching, Glasner might rest a few players this weekend.

As such, Bournemouth will likely take full advantage as they look to continue their challenge for a European spot.

This Palace side should be tired after their midweek exploits, while the Cherries have not played since a 2-2 draw with Leeds United on April 22.

Iraola's side will therefore be fresh and another win will set the south coast outfit up nicely for the final three games of the season.
