They have suffered the double blow of losing key men Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers, but they look to have recruited well enough to absorb that – and with Emery working his magic, anything feels possible.

But in Ollie Watkins, they have a player who might just be in with a sniff of emulating that achievement.
