Aston Villa have conceded in four of their last five Premier League games
Burnley have scored in seven of their last eight matches
Recommended Bet: Back Burnley to score Over 0.5 goals
Aston Villa and Burnley meet at Villa Park on Sunday with both sides desperate to climb away from the lower reaches of the Premier League table.
A 3-1 home win over Fulham last weekend finally kickstarted the Villans’ league campaign, ending a five-game winless start and lifting them to 16th in the standings.
That victory was sandwiched between two Europa League wins for Unai Emery’s side, who were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Sunderland the weekend before.
Burnley, meanwhile, remain stuck in the bottom three after a heavy 5-1 defeat to Manchester City, extending their winless streak to five matches in all competitions.
Scott Parker’s side have struggled to adapt to life back in the top flight, conceding 13 goals in six games and scoring just six.

Team news
Villa could be without Emiliano Martinez for Sunday’s game after the World Cup-winning goalkeeper felt something during the warm-up ahead of Villa’s win over Feyenoord on Thursday.
Marco Bizot stepped in and performed well between the posts, so Emery should have no qualms if Martinez is unable to face Burnley.
Pau Torres looks set to partner Ezri Konsa in defence again after Tyrone Mings suffered an ankle injury against Fulham.
Meanwhile, Burnley could be unchanged from the 5-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium with Parker unlikely to tinker with too much.
Josh Laurent, Hjalmar Ekdal and Maxime Esteve, who scored two own goals against City, are expected to form the defensive trio with Kyle Walker and Quilindschy Hartman out wide.
Jacob Bruun Larsen is pushing for inclusion on the right, but Jaidon Anthony’s place on the left looks safe as he has scored four of Burnley’s six league goals this season.

Prediction
Villa’s improved attacking form and home advantage make them favourites to see off a Burnley side short on defensive stability.
But Parker’s team have only been shut out in two of their first six games back in the top flight and one of those was a home defeat to Liverpool in which they were purely focused on defending for a 0-0 draw until the last minute.
The Clarets’ 5-1 defeat to Manchester City was nothing like as embarrassing as the scoreline suggests with the visitors only a couple of goals down until Erling Haaland’s double strike after the 90th minute.
They can get on the scoresheet against a Villa side that have shown a few defensive cracks early in the campaign, although the likelihood for Burnley is that one goal will not be enough to snatch all three points.
