Neto ‘really excited’ about Chelsea’s future after signing new contract

Pedro Neto has signed a new Chelsea contract which will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2032.

The Portugal international has become a key player for the Blues since joining the club two years ago, making 108 appearances and registering a combined 40 goals and assists.

Neto also played an important role in Chelsea’s Conference League and Club World Cup triumphs in 2025, scoring three times during their successful Club World Cup campaign.

The 26-year-old has started the new season with two goals, including the strike which completed Chelsea’s comeback on their way to a dramatic 6-3 Carabao Cup victory over Leeds on Wednesday.

“It’s an unbelievable moment,” Neto said after signing his new deal.

“From when I arrived, I have always felt like the people here helped me a lot. I feel like home here, I feel like I want to achieve more things here.

“I have had some good moments here as a group and as an individual, and now I want to have more of those moments.

“I’m really excited because I think we can achieve a lot of things together.”
