Medical tomorrow: details of the Tottenham and Manchester City agreement over the Omar Marmoush deal
A distinctive attacking boost
Omar Marmoush's move from Manchester City to Tottenham looks like a matter of time as the summer window rolls on.
Desperate to bolster their attack, Spurs have opened advanced talks with City for the Egypt forward. Land him, and Roberto De Zerbi gains an attacking option unlike anything currently in his squad.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed as much on Sunday: "Breaking: Tottenham reach verbal agreement with Manchester City to sign Omar Marmoush, here we go".
He added: "Verbal agreement reached on an initial loan with an obligation to buy that becomes mandatory under certain conditions worth £50 million".
The deal is close. "Marmoush agreed to Tottenham's offer days ago, with travel and the medical tomorrow, Monday," Romano concluded.
