Man Utd prepare move for eye-catching West Ham star Summerville with £50m price tag

Manchester United are preparing a move for Crysencio Summerville, for whom West Ham want £50million, reports Caught Offside.
United have set about creating a squad which can challenge in both the Premier League and Champions League next season. They have started with the midfield, with Atalanta's Ederson reportedly not far from walking through the door at Old Trafford.
Moves in the attack are also being looked into, with the Red Devils said to be considering West Ham's Summerville.
For the Dutch winger, the Hammers want to earn £50million, and if negotiations for his team-mate, Mateus Fernandes, are anything to go by, they won't be dropping their demands.
That is directly relevant to United's situation, as they are also going after £80million Fernandes, and the pursuit of two midfielders is their current priority.
The £50million Summerville tag, therefore, is said to be seen as a major obstacle.
It is not clear how much United would be willing to pay for the Dutchman, and at what point they will fully turn attention on him, given the midfield restructure is taking up most of their attention.
However, United risk losing out if they can't push on the wide man now, as Tottenham, Napoli, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are all named as admirers of the winger, who West Ham will have no problem selling if the valuation is met.
Summerville catching the eye at World Cup
In a struggling West Ham side last season, Summerville managed seven goals and five assists in all competitions, and now on the world stage, he's catching the eye with some masterful performances.
The 24-year-old winger played 70 minutes in the Netherlands' World Cup opener against Japan, scoring his nation's second goal in the 2-2 draw.
Then, as the Dutch thumped Sweden 5-1 in their second game, Summerville started on the bench, but made the most of his 45-minute outing.
Introduced to the game at 2-0, Summerville assisted Cody Gakpo within 10 minutes, and capped the game off with a strike in the 89th minute, scooping his second World Cup goal and first assist, in just his second game.
Summerville only began his international career in June, with a place in the squad for the World Cup warm-ups his first taste of international football - of which he played both - and his eye-catching performances in each game so far are sure to maintain interest from big clubs.
