Man Utd boss Carrick delighted with Rashford’s return
Manchester United boss Michael Carrick says Marcus Rashford has returned to the club in “great spirits”.
Rashford has returned to United following his loan spell away from Old Trafford at Barcelona.
The forward has been the subject of considerable speculation over his future this summer, but Carrick insists he is looking forward to having the England international in his squad.
“He’s our player and he’s come back great,” Carrick told ITV Sport.
“He’s just like any other player.
“I’ve known Marcus a long time and he gives us something a little bit different. And he’s been in great spirits since he’s been back.
“He’s been back two or three days training and it’s just pretty normal, to be honest.
“And we’re looking forward to the start of the season.”
