Man City Ready to Sell Savinho, Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb to Fund January Transfers

Manchester City are prepared to cash in on three young stars in order to fund January signings, reports Football Insider.
The Cityzens cut the gap at the top of the Premier League table to two points following their 3-0 win over Sunderland last weekend, though that gap has since widened to five points following Arsenal’s late 2-1 win at Wolves on Saturday night.
City will look to pull back to within two points of the Gunners when they travel to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon as they aim to wrestle the Premier League title back from Liverpool.
City prepared to invest in January
And City are prepared to invest in the squad in January in order to pip title rivals Arsenal to the finish line.
Pep Guardiola’s side have been linked with a number of potential additions in the New Year, including Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton, who they’ll get a closer look at at Selhurst Park this weekend, RB Leipzig youngster Yan Diomande and Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo.
However, City need to sell a number of fringe players in order to fund investment next month, with the club willing to entertain offers for Savinho, Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb.
Savinho was wanted by Tottenham in January
Savinho was wanted by Premier League counterparts Tottenham over the summer, but City rebuffed Spurs’ efforts to sign the winger, who penned a new deal at the Etihad Stadium earlier this year.
The former Girona man has found minutes hard to come by this season and has started just four league games.
Spurs remain in the market for a left winger, and have also been linked with moves for Diomande and Semenyo.
Lewis and Bobb, meanwhile, are also struggling for regular minutes under Guardiola this season, and could push for a January exit if playing time isn’t guaranteed in 2026.
City follow up Sunday’s game against Palace with the welcome of Brentford in the EFL Cup in midweek, where the trio will hope to feature in some capacity.
