Liverpool added Victor Munoz and Bradley Barcola to their attacking ranks over the summer.

Despite those sums being lavished on new signings there are NO plans for the Reds to relent. Instead it looks as though more forwards are on the radar - with the likes of Yankuba Minteh and Kaoru Mitoma among those mentioned as potential incomings.

Liverpool looking into Kevin Schade deal

There is also the possibility of Andoni Iraola adding Kevin Schade.

The Germany international, 24, has been named as an LFC target in recent reports - with Schade adding three goals in his opening five games of the season for Brentford.

Schade is an established member of Jurgen Klopp’s Nationalmannschaft these days and it’s no surprise to see him linked to bigger clubs.

Serious offer will attract Schade to Anfield

Nonetheless the Bees under head coach Keith Andrews won’t give up their star forward without a fight.

The former Freiburg sensation is under contract at the Gtech Community Stadium until 2028 with plans now underway to sign him to extended terms.

According to a report in Football Insider it will take a “serious” bid from Anfield in order to persuade the West London side to do business.

“Brentford will not let Schade leave easily, and hope to tie him down to a new contract,” the report reads.

“Liverpool are among a number of clubs believed to have sent scouts to watch the wide man, with the position remaining a priority for Andoni Iraola's side.

“It would take a serious offer from Liverpool to tempt the West London club into negotiations, and they instead hope he will pen a long-term deal to deter interest from elsewhere.”

Kevin Schade: Situation summary

Kevin Schade has become one of Brentford’s most dangerous transition attackers.

The 24-year-old Germany international is a rapid, direct wide forward who attacks space relentlessly, carries the ball at defenders and offers a genuine aerial threat despite operating primarily from the left. He can also play on the right or through the middle.

After an eight-goal Premier League campaign last season, Schade has started 2026/27 sharply, scoring three times in his first five league appearances.

His pace and off-ball running have made him a key outlet in Brentford’s forward line, while his form has also earned starts for Germany.

Schade is contracted until June 2028, but Brentford have opened talks over improved terms as he enters the final two years of his deal.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been credited with interest, increasing the incentive for Brentford to secure his long-term future.
