Liverpool Join Man Utd in Race for €50m-Rated Juventus Midfielder Khephren Thuram

Liverpool are considering a move for Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram but would face competition from Manchester United for the Frenchman, reports Italian publication Tuttosport.
Juventus are looking to raise funds to strengthen the squad having missed out on a Champions League finish.
The Old Lady ended a disappointing season in sixth, two points off a top-four finish following a late-season collapse as they won only one of their last five matches.
As such, a number of key players are looking to leave the Italian giants this summer, with Thuram among those expected to depart in the off-season.
Liverpool again linked with Thuram
And Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, who would cost around €50m to lure away from Turin this summer.
The Premier League side are expected to add to their midfield this summer with both Curtis Jones and Wataru Endo linked with exits.
While another winger remains a priority, despite the addition of Victor Munoz, Liverpool are seeking to give new head coach Andoni Iraola the players required to launch a sustained title push.
Liverpool were previously linked with a move for Thuram prior to his 2024 switch to Juventus.
Man Utd keeping tabs on Juventus star
However, Liverpool are not the only side to have linked with a move for Thuram, with United also keeping tabs on the Juventus man.
United’s priority is to strengthen in the middle of the park this summer following Casemiro’s exit and Manuel Ugarte’s serious knee injury sustained at the World Cup 2026.
Brazilian Ederson is already expected to put pen to paper and secure a move to Old Trafford once his World Cup participation draws to a close.
And United are considering another Serie A raid with Thuram a rumoured target for Michael Carrick’s side.
Adam Wharton and Alex Scott have also been linked with a high-profile summer switch to the club.
However, United failed in their pursuits of Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes, who last week joined Manchester City and Tottenham, respectively, from Nottingham Forest and West Ham.
