Liverpool are keen on bringing Antonio Nusa to Anfield this summer but face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the race to sign the RB Leipzig wideman, reports CaughtOffside.
Nusa was a key player for Norway at the 2026 World Cup, starting four of six matches in North America as the Vikings made it to the quarter-final stage.
The 21-year-old’s showings on the left flank didn’t go unnoticed either, even if the youngster netted just once this summer.
Liverpool and Arsenal seeking winger reinforcements
Liverpool are expected to make a move for a new winger to replace the outgoing Mohamed Salah, even if they have already signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna.
And having been left disappointed in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain target Yan Diomande, Liverpool are prepared to turn their attention to his RB Leipzig teammate.
Andoni Iraola’s side would face competition from the 2025/26 Premier League champions, however, with Arsenal said to be readying a €40m move for Nusa.
The Gunners are out to sign a new left winger following Leandro Trossard’s move to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas, while the club will reportedly entertain offers for Gabriel Martinelli.
And while Christos Tzolis is the lead target for the north London side, Arsenal are weighing up their winger options, with Nusa a potential target for Mikel Arteta.
However, RB Leipzig are holding out for a fee closer to €60m following the Norwegian’s commendable domestic campaign, where he scored four goals and provided three assists.
Rogers also a target for Arsenal
Arsenal are also in the market for further attacking reinforcements, with Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers a target for the champions.
Arteta’s side would need to cough up a nine-figure sum in order to convince Villa to sell the England international.
The Villans have endured a tough start to the summer having lost Amadou Onana to an ACL injury while on World Cup 2026 duty with Belgium.
Additionally, the Europa League champions were forced to cash in on prized midfielder Youri Tielemans after Manchester United triggered the £35m release clause in the 29-year-old’s contract.
