Liverpool have concrete interest in Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao, and have an offer they're willing to make, reports TuttoSport.

The Reds have prioritised replacing Mohamed Salah this summer. He's going to find a new club after nine years as a Liverpool player, during which he only failed to score 20 goals once.

Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola is currently the favourite option, after it was revealed he was open to joining Liverpool this summer.

The potential issue with that pursuit is a £145million price tag, and if the Reds can't afford that, they're likely to look elsewhere.

TuttoSport reports they already have a contingency plan in place, with concrete interest in Juventus' Conceicao.

The Portuguese winger looked sharp in World Cup performances, despite not getting his name on the scoresheet or assisting in any of his nation's game.

For the 23-year-old, Liverpool would be willing to put €50million (£43m) on the table.

There's no suggestion of whether Juventus would accept that sort of fee, but Conceicao is contracted for another four years, following his €30million (£25.7m) transfer from Porto in 2025, after he'd previously spent a season on loan with Juve.

Barcola future might not be solved soon

But whether Liverpool know if they'll first be able to get Barcola could take some time.

It's believed negotiations with PSG are currently ongoing, but Fabrizio Romano has suggested they could take time.

He said: “Just quickly on Bradley Barcola, many questions again and I understand the excitement of Liverpool fans.

“But what I can say right now as an update is don’t expect something imminent.

"I know that now everyone is jumping on the story. No one was caring about Barcola to Liverpool in April, May, June or July, now everyone is jumping on the story.

“But it doesn’t mean Liverpool are going to sign Barcola today. It’s not going to be a super-fast deal, it’s going to take time.

“It’s a complicated negotiation in the sense that it’s a lot of money, you need to negotiate and discuss, but the player is keen on the move.

“I’ll tell you more about Barcola soon, but the update is just about the timing, to control the excitement around that.”
