Leeds United confirm departure as efforts to bring in Bahoya continue

Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto has completed an initial loan move to Fiorentina.

The deal is understood to include an option to buy for the Italy international, with the total value potentially reaching £18m including add-ons.

Leeds had been waiting until they were confident that they could secure a replacement before allowing the transfer to go through.

The club are working to complete a deal for Jean-Matteo Bahoya, with the move understood to be an initial loan which includes a permanent element.
