Juventus are hopeful about retaining the services of prized forward Kenan Yildiz, reports TEAMtalk.
Yildiz has emerged as one of the finest young attacking talents on the continent after his breakout season for the Old Lady in 2024/25.
The 20-year-old is now considered indispensable by Juventus, who are eager to retain his services.
The Turkey international penned a contract extension with the Serie A powerhouse last summer but his rise to prominence has increased interest in his services.
Liverpool and Chelsea are both believed to be keeping tabs on Yildiz, while Arsenal are also among potential suitors for the Juventus star.
La Liga giants Barcelona are also rumoured to be monitoring the versatile attacker, who has provided three assists and scored two goals in Serie A this season.
Premier League trio monitoring contract talks
Yildiz is looking to earn pay parity with summer signing Jonathan David, who is believed to be on £100,000 per week in Turin.
However, there is currently a contract stand off between player and club, in part owing to structural changes for the Italian side.
Juventus recently sacked Igor Tudor and replaced the Croat with Luciano Spalletti, while further off-field alterations have delayed talks.
The Serie A side are also under no pressure to extend Yildiz’s current deal, which runs until 2029, with a potential renewal taking that to 2030.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on discussions between player and club, and are ready to strike should talks reach an impasse.
'I would like to stay at Juventus for life'
Even so, interested parties would need to work hard to prise Yildiz away from Turin, with the player himself keen to commit to the Old Lady.
“I would like to stay at Juventus for life,” Yildiz said back in June.
“In the last year, I felt like I was becoming a man, especially in my mentality. There were difficulties, but I am happy with the season. Being the symbol of Juve gives me great confidence.
“I don’t think about the contract. I don’t talk about money or anything else, I just want to give my all on the pitch. I would like to stay at Juventus for life, but in football, you never know what can happen.”
Since Tudor’s sacking last month, Juventus are unbeaten in three, as they followed up back-to-back wins over Udinese and Cremonese with a 1-1 draw against Sporting in the Champions League in midweek.
And Spalletti faces a baptism of fire in his first home league game as Juventus boss as they welcome Turin rivals Torino to the Juventus Stadium on Saturday evening.
