JJ Gabriel told leaving Man Utd will 'affect whole family' - 'It's all about money'

The JJ Gabriel situation is expected to affect his "whole family" as former scout Bryan King feels an intermediary is taking the Manchester United youngster to big clubs for money.
Gabriel is perhaps the most talented 15-year-old in the world. He's been highly thought of at United for the last couple of years and didn't appear far from making his first-team debut recently.
But in a shock turn, the teen told United he wants to leave, and given he's not yet contracted, he'll be able to sign with whoever he wants when he's 16.
Gabriel has been in talks with Barcelona, while there's also interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
A move to Spain is felt to be one of the likeliest courses of action should the forward depart England.
Former Premier League scout King feels that'll mean the whole family goes, too.
He told Football Insider: "If [Ali] Barat is going to be taking him to Real Madrid, Barcelona - I saw Bayern Munich was mentioned - then that's going to affect the whole family. Then the whole family will move as well."
Ali Barat in it for the money
Super agent Barat is acting as an intermediary in talks over Gabriel's future, and once he turns 16 in October, he's expected to formally become his agent.
King has detailed how he's only in the situation to make money.
He said: "Nothing today surprises me in football. Nothing at all. It's all about money. Is this agent doing all this kind work because he likes the family? No, because he sees the potential of earning a lot of money. He's an agent, so rightly so.
"Funnily enough, I met Tore Pedersen yesterday, the former Blackburn player. Tore's been an agent for a long, long time. I feel he's the type of guy who has players' interest foremost.
"He doesn't do it for free, and rightly so, and nor does this fella. But when you start moving families around from a great football club, I know they're not exactly pulling up straws at the moment, Manchester United.
"But to be brought into a situation like this with a 15-year-old boy, already negotiations are starting about him moving from the football club. And really, there should be no agent involved here until the kid's 16 at least.
"He's 16 on October the sixth, so it's coming around pretty sharpish, then the race will be on."
