Sergej Jakirovic has confirmed that forwards Mohamed-Ali Cho and Ilyas Ansah are both set to be announced as Hull City players.

Cho will arrive from Nice, and the signing of the 22-year-old could be announced by the end of the day. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Ansah just needs to complete a medical before his move from Union Berlin is finalised.

“We agreed on everything with Ali Cho, so I think he will be announced today,” confirmed Jakirovic. “Ansah will go on medical checks, so after the medical check, I am expecting that tomorrow it will be finished. This is a great signing for us.”

The duo will become the club’s 12th and 13th signings of the summer. Nevertheless, the Tigers’ business is not expected to end there.

“Maybe I’m expecting one more midfielder,” continued Jakirovic. “And on the left side, one more.

“I don’t know who will be coming. (Robinio) Vaz, Yeremay (Hernandez), (Sorba) Thomas, I don’t know, because we are speaking, we are working with a few options, so who will be faster?

“Who will agree faster financial terms, the player, agent, mother, father, grandfather, or club? This is very important. All three sides must be satisfied with everything.”

Alongside the targets name-checked by the Hull boss, the Tigers are also believed to be pursuing a loan deal for Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer. They are also hoping for the return of Fabio Carvalho on loan from Brentford.

At the same time, departures are also expected from the MKM Stadium in the final week of the transfer window.
