Glasner reveals injury worry for Nottingham Forest star
Nottingham Forest boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed Morgan Gibbs-White will miss Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash with Leeds due to a knee injury.
Gibbs-White suffered the issue in his side’s narrow defeat against Tuesday’s opponents Leeds on Saturday.
“There is no structural damage, but there’s no point in risking him tomorrow,” Glasner said.
“We’re working really hard to get him fit for the Liverpool game on Saturday, but he can’t make tomorrow’s game.”
Glasner also confirmed Ryan Yates and Nicolò Savona remain sidelined.
“A lot of players look good and fresh and tomorrow is a cup competition,” Glasner said ahead of his side’s cup tie.
“We want to have the same approach no matter the competition and try to win a trophy.
“We’ll have fresh minds and we’ll try to win the game.”
