Fulham are close to an agreement with Manchester City for the acquisition of Oscar Bobb. The clubs are on the brink of finalizing a transfer fee in the region of £30 million, as per The Daily Mail.

The winger has been linked with a move away from the Etihad stadium all winter, more so after Man City added Antoine Semenyo from AFC Bournemouth to a squad already blessed with the likes of Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva and more recent recruits in Savinho, Omar Marmoush and Rayan Cherki among others.

Fulham to make an official bid soon

And while Borussia Dortmund have been long-term admirers of Bobb, it's understood that Fulham are poised to fend off competition for his signature.

The West Londoners and Bobb have already agreed on personal terms, and are expected to table an official bid soon. Pep Guardiola is aware of the 22-year-old's desire to look for game time elsewhere.

"I don't know yet about the transfer. There are rumours, and I know he is talking, but I don't know at the moment," the Man City boss said after his side's 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. When quizzed upon whether he wants to leave, Pep conceded, "I think so."

Fulham looking to reshuffle attacking ranks

Raul Jimenez's contract runs out at the end of the season, and there has been no suggestion of him renewing his deal, even though Rodrigo Muniz is currently undergoing a spell on the sidelines owing to a hamstring injury.

And with Adama Traore also set to leave for West Ham, Fulham have approached PSV Eindhoven for Ricardo Pepi, who has notched eight goals across 15 Eredivisie games.

The arrival of Bobb could give Silva's side a fresh look.

Bobb hopeful for minutes after lengthy injury spells

No goals in 15 appearances, falling down the pecking order and not receiving a sustained run of starts in the team punctuates Bobb's wish for pastures new.

It's not been an easy road for the Norwegian. Ahead of what could have been his breakout season in 2024, he fractured his leg during pre-season and was restricted to just six appearances in all competitions.

In April 2025, and as recently as December 17, he trudged off the pitch with a hamstring injury. All in all, he's missed close to a full year of football due to setbacks.

Perhaps, a move to Fulham could kickstart his career again as he looks to fulfill the promise in the Premier League.
