Chelsea have been linked with Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao, who could take a squad place should Mykhailo Mudryk leave Stamford Bridge this month. Enzo Fernandez’s future also remains uncertain amid reports linking him with Manchester City.

Chelsea are two days away from their Premier League opener against Fulham, while attention remains on the club’s decisions in the final part of the summer transfer window. Xabi Alonso has brought in 10 new players, with four leaving permanently and a further 13 sent out on loan.

With 10 days remaining until deadline day, Chelsea have been linked with Conceicao, while reports continue to connect Fernandez with a move to Manchester City.

Chelsea linked with Conceicao

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao. The Portuguese player could take up a squad space left by Mudryk should the Ukrainian secure a move away from Stamford Bridge this month.

The link comes after Alonso’s 10 arrivals this summer. Any further movement in the squad will form part of Chelsea’s business during the closing days of the window.

Mudryk’s future

Mudryk could secure a move away from Chelsea this month, with Conceicao identified in reports as a player who could fill a squad space in that scenario.

Chelsea’s transfer plans remain in focus as the deadline approaches and the club prepares for the start of its Premier League campaign against Fulham.

Fernandez and Manchester City interest

Chelsea will only sell Enzo Fernandez if they can acquire a replacement and the fee is right, according to David Ornstein. Manchester City remain interested in signing the midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window.

The report said Chelsea had put in place a £120million deadline connected with signing Fernandez the previous Friday, but that deadline has expired. Alonso has spoken about the Argentine’s importance to Chelsea ahead of the Fulham match.

Fernandez’s future therefore remains unresolved as the final days of the window approach, with City’s reported interest continuing.

Other Chelsea transfer updates

Chelsea have confirmed Benoit Badiashile’s season-long loan move to Napoli. The club said the centre-back had completed his move to the Serie A side.

Axel Disasi is closing in on a loan move to Crystal Palace, according to Fabrizio Romano, after Chelsea attempted to include him in the deal that brought Maxence Lacroix to Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham Hotspur have approached Chelsea over Nicolas Jackson, according to Football Insider. Aston Villa have also been linked with the striker as a potential replacement for Ollie Watkins.
