Champions League draw: Premier League sides discover league stage opponents
Arsenal will face Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been handed one of the toughest schedules of the five Premier League representatives, with Real Madrid visiting the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal travelling to Bayern Munich.
Arsenal will also host Borussia Dortmund, Lille and Sabah, while travelling to Real Betis, Napoli and Slavia Prague.
Aston Villa face a similarly demanding campaign on their return to the Champions League, with Unai Emery’s side travelling to Barcelona and hosting holders Paris Saint-Germain.
Villa will also take on Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Viking and Slavia Prague.
Liverpool have been drawn against Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid, with the Reds travelling to the San Siro before welcoming the Spanish side to Anfield.
Andoni Iraola’s side will also face Porto, Club Brugge, Villarreal, Fenerbahce, Lens and LASK.
Manchester City have been handed a blockbuster meeting with Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium, while they will travel to Barcelona in another eye-catching fixture.
City will also play Sporting CP, Porto, Napoli, RB Leipzig, AEK Athens and Lens.
Manchester United, meanwhile, will travel to Atletico Madrid and Como, while Bayern Munich and Roma are among the teams heading to Old Trafford.
United will also face Sporting CP, RB Leipzig, Villarreal and Sabah as they begin their Champions League campaign.
