Aston Villa and Tottenham are among the sides monitoring Bayern Munich centre-back Kim Min-jae, reports Fussball News.
Bayern could reportedly listen to offers for Kim in the winter window. The defender has until the end of next season left on his deal, and it's said negotiations can begin between €25-30million (£21.4-25.7m).
Further to that, the Bundesliga giants are said to be planning a crucial discussion with him in December, just before the winter window.
Among those interested are Premier League pair Villa and Tottenham.
It's said both clubs see Kim as a potential defensive reinforcement due to his physicality and experience.
The South Korean has played in two separate top-five leagues and has 39 games of Champions League experience under his belt.
At Villa, who are playing in the elite European competition this season and decided against adding new centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis for it, that experience could be ideal.
There are a pair of other big clubs eyeing Kim, though. Having played for Napoli in 2022-23, the defender is being watched by a pair of other big Italian sides, Juventus and AC Milan. The pair are said to be closely-monitoring Kim.
Aston Villa and Tottenham struggling
Both Villa and Tottenham made wholesale changes to their squads in the summer, with the Villans adding 11 players and Spurs signing over £300million worth.
But after five Premier League games, Villa sit 16th, with one win - over Tottenham - while the north London club are dead bottom, having picked up only two points.
Villa have conceded nine goals this season - four on the opening day of the season - and Spurs eight, so the defensive frailties of both are evident currently.
The Villans looked to have made great strides when they put three goals past Tottenham in the last game, not conceding until the final five minutes of normal time, but Spurs added a second in stoppage time.
Indeed, the signing of a player like Kim, who's got experience as a defender at big clubs, could be ideal for both sides.
But Bayern are currently believed to be satisfied with the defender's performances, so whether a transfer comes to fruition any time soon is unclear.
