Aston Villa confirm double deadline day deal

Aston Villa have confirmed the signings of Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain and Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Southampton.

Senegal international Mbaye joins Villa for a fee of around £47m after an impressive start to his career with French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The highly-rated winger made his PSG debut at the age of just 16 and went on to enjoy considerable success in Paris, winning two UEFA Champions League titles, two Ligue 1 titles, the French Cup and two UEFA Super Cups.

Mbaye has also made 15 appearances for Senegal and scored for his country at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Villa have also strengthened their defensive options with the signing of England international Harwood-Bellis from Southampton for a fee of around £30m.
