Arsenal target exciting 15-G/A attacker but face €70 million demand

Matias Fernandez-Pardo has been linked with a move away from Lille this summer.

The 21-year-old was excellent for the French outfit last season, and Arsenal are keeping tabs on him. He had 15 goal contributions last season.

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Arsenal are interested in signing the player, and Lille would sanction his departure for a fee of €70 million. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal is willing to spend that kind of money on the young attacker.

Even though he’s a tremendous talent, he is largely unproven at the highest level, and the asking price is quite high. The French outfit will have to be more reasonable in their demands for the move to go through.

Fernandez-Pardo can operate as a number nine as well as a winger. He will help create opportunities for his teammates and goals. Arsenal need more quality in the attacking unit. They need a dynamic attacker, and the Belgian could be ideal.
