Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has agreed a new deal with the Premier League champions, reports BBC Sport.
Arteta is already the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, having joined in 2019. He has been with the Gunners three years longer than the next longest-serving manager in the league, predecessor Unai Emery, at Aston Villa.
Arteta won the Premier League with Arsenal in 2025-26 and has been in contract talks following that achievement for a little while.
It's now reported he has agreed to a new deal with the champions, with improved terms from his previous one. Indeed, it's said there'll be a 'sharp pay increase' from the £10million per year Arteta was earning.
The exact length of the new contract is not known, but it's expected it'll take him into a 10th year with the Gunners, which would be in 2029.
Arteta recently allayed any fears that he could move on from the Emirates anytime soon, stating: "They [the fans] don't have to worry about any of that because I want to be here. I'm extremely happy and I feel very grateful to work with the people I work with."

Though Arteta's side lost to Brighton at the weekend, they've been in a good spot so far this season. Other than Manchester City, who have won all five league games this season, Arsenal are the only side to have picked up four wins.
That puts them second in the table, three points shy of City but two points ahead of the Seagulls, who they lost 3-0 to.
Arsenal are once again favourites for the league title, and after reaching the Champions League final last season, Arteta's side are felt to be in with a good chance of going deep in the competition again.
They opened their European account this season with a 1-0 victory over Napoli, in which skipper Martin Odegaard scored the only goal.
The captain has been revived this term, already with more goals than he scored in the entirety of last season.
The Norwegian is under contract until the end of the 2027-28 season, and it would not be a surprise to see him follow Arteta in penning a new deal with Arsenal.
