Arsenal make transfer decision on Milan-linked Nwaneri
Reports in the UK claim that Arsenal have come to a decision not to part ways with the Milan-linked Ethan Nwaneri on a permanent transfer this summer, but that the teenager is available for loan in order to increase his game-time.
Nwaneri only available for loan, not on a permanent transfer
According to reports from BBC Sport, Arsenal are ‘prioritising’ loan offers for 19-year-old Nwaneri, who has been linked with a move to Milan among various other destinations across Europe.
The Gunners are not currently entertaining the idea of a permanent move away from The Emirates, though.
The England youth international has already scored 10 goals from 51 competitive appearances in the Arsenal first team, but with an attacking unit that contains the likes of Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Christos Tzolis, Eberechi Eze and Kai Havertz, regular playing opportunities are expected to be few and far between for Nwaneri this coming season.
Nwaneri already spent the second half of the 2025-26 season out on loan in Ligue 1 with Marseille where he scored two goals from nine appearances in the French top flight.
And he is now expected to be made available for loan again, with BBC Sport reporting that Milan, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Fulham are among the list of interested parties.
