Arsenal confirm double exit with another departure close
Gabriel Jesus has completed a permanent move from Arsenal to Barcelona, bringing an end to his four-year spell with the Premier League champions.
The deal is worth around £8.5m with Jesus signing a contract with the Spanish club until 2029.
The 29-year-old joined Arsenal from Manchester City in July 2022 and went on to make 123 appearances in all competitions, scoring 32 goals.
Jesus played a role in Arsenal’s Premier League title-winning campaign, making 27 appearances across all competitions, despite having spent the majority of the 2024/25 season on the sidelines with an ACL injury.
Meanwhile, midfielder Fabio Vieira has also departed the Gunners, joining Hamburn in a permanent deal for around £8.6m.
Gabriel Martinelli is too closing in on an Arsenal exit, with Al Hilal expected to sign the winger for around £60m.
