Alonso names his first line-up with Chelsea against Fulham

Xabi Alonso has named his Chelsea side for his first official match in charge, away to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Monday evening in the opening round of the Premier League.

The Spaniard hands starts to an attacking trio of Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro. Enzo Fernandez drops to the bench, with reports linking him to an imminent move to Manchester City this summer.

Chelsea's line-up was as follows:

Goalkeeper: Sanchez.

Defence: Acheampong, Lacroix, Colwill.

Midfield: Gusto, James, Lavia, Hato.

Attack: Palmer, Rogers, Joao Pedro.

On the other side, Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa announced his side's line-up as follows:

Goalkeeper: Leno.

Defence: Castagne, Cuenca, Bassey, Robinson.

Midfield: Berge, Iwobi, King.

Attack: Palacios, Bope, Gonzalo Garcia.
