£140m double Tottenham signing to be wrapped up by Monday after agreement is struck
There is a belief at Tottenham that their double deal for Manchester City duo Savinho and Omar Marmoush can be sealed by Monday, according to reports.
Spurs acted extremely quickly in the summer transfer market as they brought in six early signings to give Roberto De Zerbi the best chance of success this season.
The Tottenham hierarchy are looking to avoid facing another relegation battle this coming campaign after surviving on the final day of last season.
Tottenham are currently stuck on six signings but more are now set to follow after Spurs have successfully held out for their top targets this summer.
It has been widely reported that Man City duo Savinho and Omar Marmoush, along with Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo are the final three signings Tottenham want to get over the line this summer.
Our friends at TEAMtalk have now brought some exciting news for Tottenham fans with Spurs now closing in on two of their final three targets.

The website has revealed that Marmoush has now ‘agreed terms on a five-year contract’ and that Spurs are ‘hoping to complete a £140million double deal with Manchester City over the weekend’.
TEAMtalk adds: ‘We understand the transfer for Savinho has also been finalised, while terms have also now been agreed with Marmoush as Tottenham close in on two major additions from City.’
It is understood that ‘there is now belief the £140million package can be wrapped up by Monday’ with Tottenham able to fully concentrate on exits and getting a deal for Gakpo over the line.
Despite some doubts over Tottenham’s ability to sign Liverpool winger Gakpo, who reportedly wants to join Spurs, Italian transfer insider Fabrizio Romano recently insisted that a transfer “is still absolutely on”.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: “For Cody Gakpo, Tottenham remain in conversations. I know in the last 24, 48 hours, the rumours around the story are that the deal is not happening, the deal is off, the deal is not going through.

“But my understanding is that the negotiation for Cody Gakpo to Tottenham is still ongoing. Cody Gakpo is open to joining Tottenham and personal terms are not a problem.
“So the deal remains on. The deal remains underway and Cody Gakpo to Tottenham Hotspur is still absolutely on.
“Then they need to reach a financial agreement, and that’s not a detail. Remember that if Gakpo is going to Tottenham, Liverpool will sign two wingers, top target Bradley Barcola plus one.
“So it’s still a long story in a short time because now there are less than two weeks of the summer transfer window. We’ll be following the situation. These days, anything can happen.
“But what I can guarantee at this time on Tuesday is that nothing has changed yet. There is no deal off. The conversation remains ongoing and we have to follow the situation to understand what’s going to happen.”
