The Dutch star steals the spotlight

New Dutch arrival Tijjani Reijnders drew plenty of attention on his debut for Al-Qadsiah, who beat Neom two goals to nil in the third round of the Roshn League.

Making his second appearance for Al-Qadsiah, Reijnders started and struck the opener in the 29th minute.

Football statistics network "Opta" noted that Reijnders is the eighth Dutch player to score in the Roshn League since the professional era began (2008-2009).

He also became just the second player to score on his first appearance as a starter in the competition, after Ola John did so for Al-Hazm against Al-Taawoun in August 2021.

Reijnders signed for Al-Qadsiah in the past few days, joining from Manchester City in a deal worth more than 60 million euros.
