Barcelona star Lamine Yamal made history during his side's ongoing clash with Rayo Vallecano in the third round of La Liga.

Yamal fired home Barcelona's second goal on 21 minutes with a superb strike.

Barcelona's official account on "X" wrote: "Lamine Yamal has become the youngest player in the history of Europe's top five leagues to reach 50 goals, surpassing the numbers of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé".

The teenager reached the milestone at 19 years and 49 days.
