Report: Celtic open loan talks for versatile Feyenoord fullback
Celtic are reportedly exploring a loan deal to sign Jordan Lotomba from Feyenoord. The Scottish Champions are looking to sign at least five players before the window closes and full backs are on the wish list given injury concerns around first picks Alistair Johnston and Kieran Tierney.
According to Celts Are Here, Celtic are looking at the 27-year-old, whose contract expires next summer, as a potential option.
The eight-cap Swiss international defender developed at Lausanne-Sport, making his senior breakthrough before joining Young Boys in 2017. He won three consecutive Swiss Super League titles there, plus the Swiss Cup, while gaining European experience.
In 2020, Lotomba moved to OGC Nice, becoming a regular in Ligue 1 and making 143 appearances across all competitions for the Cote D’Azur side. He joined Feyenoord in September 2024 and has since featured domestically and in European competition.
Celtic may be interested in the versatility of the player. While he is predominately used as a right-back, Lotomba has also played at left-back, which may be of comfort to the Celtic manager as he looks for cover for KT.
