Probable Ajax line-up: does Amrabat start immediately against PSV?

Ajax meet PSV on Saturday in the first big game of the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie. Coach Míchel looks set to spring few surprises, Voetbalzone predicts. Ajax v PSV kicks off at 20:00 and is live on ESPN 1.

Marc-André ter Stegen starts in goal at the Johan Cruyff ArenA. Lucas Rosa gets the nod at right-back, while Caio Henrique fills the left-back slot. Aaron Bouwman and Youri Baas again make up the heart of the Amsterdam defence. Thilo Kehrer, signed this week, therefore begins on the bench.

Amrabat starts straight away Sofyan Amrabat, unveiled last week, is expected to start against PSV. Jorthy Mokio has brought control and balance to Ajax's midfield in recent weeks, but now drops out. Davy Klaassen adds experience and legs, while Julian Brandt provides the creativity further forward.

Up front, Míchel keeps faith with familiar names, with Steven Berghuis on the right. Abdellah Ouazane starts on the left, while the 1.97-metre-tall Tolu Arokodare leads the line as the central striker and target man against PSV.

Further forward, the Spanish coach also has Oscar Gloukh, Simon Adingra and Viktor Tsygankov available, with the latter still having been absent against Telstar. Rayane Bounida is unavailable through injury.

Confidence was high after Ajax beat Telstar 0-4. That result left the Amsterdammers fourth, three points behind second-placed PSV, who thrashed FC Utrecht 1-6.
