MN: ‘Keep an eye on Al-Hilal’ – Saudi interest returns for Leao with €15m offer prepared

Earlier in the summer, Rafael Leao had hopes of England or Spain for his club after AC Milan, but it seems Saudi Arabia could be the most feasible option.

It is fair to say that Leao had high hopes for his move away from Milan. Manchester United or Arsenal were seen as the goals, and whilst a move to England may still be possible, it seems unlikely. So, he may have to settle for another location…

Star heading to Saudi Arabia?

According to MilanNews, Leao is the target of interest from Saudi Arabian clubs once again. Now, it’s important to remember that he turned down a move to the Middle East during the World Cup. However, things could be different now.

A €15 million per year contract offer is being readied for the Portuguese, which is hoped could convince him after his entourage requested €12m per year from Galatasaray.

Before a deal is offered to the winger, though, the club will first try to satisfy the Diavolo. An offer between €40-45m is certainly possible and Simone Inzaghi is more than keen to reunite the left side that left Serie A mesmerised on several occasions.

We shall have to see how and if this one progresses, but with minimal interest from elsewhere, it may be all that is on the table for the star.
