MN: Amorim expected to name four changes vs. Benfica – starters return to the mix

Ahead of AC Milan’s game against Benfica on Wednesday, Ruben Amorim’s expected team has been predicted and it’s a strong one.

The Europa League may offer youngsters a chance to get some rare minutes. However, the opener against Benfica at San Siro will not grant that opportunity. Instead, a pretty strong XI is expected to be named.

Amorim’s first Europa League XI predicted

This afternoon, MilanNews have looked ahead to Wednesday night’s game and Amorim is expected to name a pretty strong team.

In defence, there will only be one change, with Matteo Gabbia set to return to the field as a starter in Koni De Winter’s place. Mario Gila, Strahinja Pavlovic and Mike Maignan will not be given a chance to rest.

Ahead of them, it’s still pretty strong. Samuel Chukwueze starts again, but Pervis Estupinan is set to be dropped, with Diego Moreira expected to start, which will be a full-circle moment. Then, Yunus Musah will replace Luka Modric from minute one alongside Adrien Rabiot.

Christian Pulisic’s return to the starting XI should also be confirmed on the right of the attacking trident, with Alphadjo Cisse moving the winger and keeping his place on the left. Then, Goncalo Ramos will return to Benfica, leading the line.
