Michiel Kramer reveals which manager he almost fought with

Michiel Kramer and Gert Kruys are not exactly the best of friends, as the former revealed with a story at the bar on Vandaag Inside on Friday evening.

Kramer has spoken before about his time at FC Volendam under Gert Kruys. Last June on De Oranjezomer, he said Kruys "belittled" players.

"I can take that up to a certain point, but sooner or later it goes just a bit too far. I can’t say exactly what he said. That’s for the biography," said Kramer at the time.

On Vandaag Inside, he has now shared a little more about his spell at Volendam under Rick Kruys’ father. "He was very condescending towards me."

Still young at the time, Kramer said Kruys spoke down to him. He said it was not just him, but other young lads in the squad too. "He really addressed us in a belittling way," said Kramer.

Eventually, Kramer had had enough. "That’s when boiling point is reached. Then we nearly fought," he concluded at the bar on the programme.
