Manchester City are back on the European stage, so how far will they go? Last season, Andrée Jeglertz's side undeniably benefited from having no European football. This helped the Sky Blues be crowned WSL champions for the first time in a decade, ending Chelsea's streak of six-in-a-row, also beating Brighton in May's FA Cup Final at Wembley.
Now though, the Citizens are determined to make in their make in the Champions League, having previously reached the semi-finals in 2017 and the following year. Manchester City's heavyweight pot 1 home match will see Paris Saint-Germain visit England's North West. This will be the first time they have ever faced les Rouge-et-Bleu. Real Madrid though are familiar foes, having eliminated Man City from qualifying in 2021 and 2022, so the Sky Blues will be seeking revenge against los Blancos.
Andrée Jeglertz's team will also host competition debutants Austria Wien. The Citizens' only previous encounters with Austrian opponents saw them beat St. Pölten 2-0 and 3-2 when they were last in Europe two seasons ago.
In terms of Manchester City's away trips, the toughest is likely to be the clash with Bayern Munich. Oddly, they've never met German opposition before. They have though won all six matches against Swedish clubs to date, albeit reigning UEFA Women's Europa Cup holders BK Häcken will be new opponents. The pair will go head-to-head at Nordic Wellness Arena in Göteborg.
Lastly, Man City's visit to Arena Gianni Brer will be their first-ever meeting with Internazionale, having previously annihilated Fiorentina 8-0 over two legs, emphatically winning their only clash with an Italian club to date.

In the UK, Disney+ will broadcast all the Women's Champions League matches, with seven fixtures a season showcased free-to-air by the BBC. In the U.S. fans can find matches in CBS Sports Golazo and Paramount+.
How does the Women's Champions League league phase work?
Every team plays six matches against six different opponents, three at home and three away.
At the end of the league phase, the top four go straight through to the quarter-finals. Clubs ranked fifth to 12th enter the play-offs, while the bottom six sides are eliminated.
To secure a top four finish, Manchester City would need around 13 points, based on last year's inaugural edition. That will be challenging, albeit having avoided last year's two finalists Barça Femení and Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, the Sky Blues will fancy their chances of accumulating the four wins needed, plus an extra point or two, to gatecrash the top four.

Manchester City will play home matches at Joie Stadium, as they do for most WSL matches. However, expect knockout phase fixtures to be moved to the Etihad.
