Lionesses squad in full as Toone and Kelly miss out

Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly have both been left out of England’s squad for next month’s World Cup qualifying play-off against Greece.

Chelsea striker Aggie Beever-Jones and Arsenal pair Lotte Wubben-Moy and Taylor Hinds are among the other notable absentees.

England captain Leah Williamson returns to the squad after missing the 4-0 defeat to Spain and 3-0 win over Ukraine in June.

There is a first senior call-up for Chelsea midfielder Lexi Potter, who has impressed so far this season.

Uncapped midfielder Erica Meg Parkinson also returns to the squad following a strong start to life at North Carolina Courage.

Manchester City full-back Niamh Charles is included after making her return from injury as a substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic.

England face Greece away in Crete on Friday, October 9 before hosting the return leg in Leicester on Tuesday, October 13.
