Leadership questions: Reacting to the Maignan and Rabiot controversy

Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot’s delayed arrival at Milanello has caused quite the stir, which is something that Oliver and Ben discussed in the latest bonus podcast episode.

Initially, Maignan and Rabiot were both scheduled to arrive on August 12, becoming the last players to join the pre-season preparations. However, two days before that, it was revealed that the players had been granted four more days off.

The reactions from the Milan fans as well as the media were pretty fiery, which is understandable when you consider the Rossoneri’s current situation. Not to mention that they were already the last to return, granted additional vacation from the beginning.

Oliver and Ben discussed the controversy in the latest episode of the bonus podcast, questioning why the duo requested additional leave in the first place. They also drew parallels to Inter, whose players that were in similar situations have all returned to training.
