Jeglertz hails Man City depth after narrow win over Charlton

Manchester City Women boss Andree Jeglertz praised the depth of his squad after their 1-0 win over Charlton.

Jeglertz made several changes to his side but was pleased with the impact of those who came into the team, as City continued their positive start to the season thanks to an Alex Greenwood goal.

“The most important thing coming here today was to win the game,” Jeglertz said.

“Just seeing the players who started, those coming in, but also being able to rest others, we have a great team with lots of different qualities.

“It doesn’t matter who starts, if I pick the same team or make changes, that’s how it is and it’s been the same against Liverpool and Bayern Munich.”
