Frattesi sends two-word message to Tonali after France 1-1 Italy
Davide Frattesi took to social media after Italy’s 1-1 draw against France, sending a cryptic message to Sandro Tonali: ‘No fear.’
The Azzurri held France to a 1-1 draw at Saint-Denis last night, in Zinedine Zidane’s home debut as Les Blues’ coach.
Both Frattesi and Tonali started in central midfield, with Nicolò Fagioli completing the Azzurri’s trio in the middle of the park and Nicolò Barella initially on the bench.
After the game, Frattesi shared a picture alongside Tottenham star Tonali with a two-word message for his compatriot: ‘No fear.’
Tonali started all three Italy games so far and was substituted in the second half against France.
Frattesi, meanwhile, came on off the bench against Belgium, then started against both Turkiye and France, scoring one goal against Turkiye.
Italy play next Monday again against Turkiye at the Stadio Dall’Ara in Bologna.
The Azzurri have earned four points in the first three group-phase games of the Nations League.
